Homebrew Yudeniche Species Details
Something of a cryptid in their homelands, no one is really sure when the yudeniche were brought into existence. The drow of the Feydark were once happy underground, however, when the Feywild was awakened, the Feydark underwent a near extinction level event. Casualties were in the billions, their environment flooded, their little natural light was extinguished, and their food sources were displaced. Those who survived adapted to survival in a flooded environment with little to no food. The newly formed yudeniche lost almost all ties to their elf ancestry, losing the very ability to trance, but gaining aquatic adaptations as well as an increase to size. Their rough, pitch black skin is only offset by their own bioluminescence and their bright white eyes. The species lost most of their sexual dimorphism, with the only instances being the color of their glowing markings, and the difference in size. They are more monstrous than what they used to be, having claws, sharp fins, layers of sharp teeth, and rough scales on their skin, however, they very much maintained their sentience and intelligence.

The Yudeniche maintained their elf lifespans, keeping a natural lifespan average of 750 years. They reach maturity at the same time as humans.
Size
The Yudeniche have extended past the size of their former selves. Females can get up to 7'6 inches tall, weighing up to 250 lbs. Males can get up to 7'2 and 230 lbs. Your size is still medium, despite the size increase.

You have advantage on saving throws you make to avoid or end the charmed condition on yourself.

Your creature type is Fey.
Superior Darkvision
Accustomed to the depths of the Feydark, as well as the waters that flood it, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 120 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Aquatic Adaptations
Due to having to dive underwater to get food, you have adapted to be able to obtain that food. You have a swimming speed of 30 feet, and you can breathe air and water.
Bioluminescence
Due to growing up in the dark, the yudeniche have developed bioluminescent markings on their skin. Males have red and purple markings while females have blue and green markings. You can cast Light but only centered on yourself with an unlimited duration.
Rough Skin
Due to having rough skin, you have a layer of resistance again damage. Your maximum HP is increased by half of your level, rounded up.
Languages
You speak Common, Sylvan, and Undersylvan, the ancient language of the Feydark.
