Homebrew Dimiourgos (Vampire Elf) Species Details

Little is known about the Dimiourgos. They are a mysterious race that hails in the Mistlands. According to the History books, the Dimiourgos were the creators of the six islands, and the original founders of Despara. That was thousands of years ago. Now, very few of the Dimiourgos remain, and those that do tend to keep to themselves, tucked away in the Mistland mountains. Their power lies in their ability to create matter from their blood. The boundary lies in only what they can imagine, and how it all works (and ofcourse how much blood they have). Because of this, they have a vast knowledge of how everything functions, down to the slightest molecule. Because of this trait, Dimiourgos feast on blood regularly to replenish what their body has lost. This has caused them to earn the name "Vampire Elves." Based upon the fact that their form resembles closest to elves.

Though it is rare, some Dimiourgos have ventured out from their usual home and live among others. They disguise their features as to not draw attention to themselves. Most of them will pose as elves. Their have even been some cases where Dimiourgos have paired with other races and attempted to reproduce, however the chances for a Dimiourgos to reproduce with another race is about 1%. Most of the time the child will die in the womb, or if it is born, it will be too disfigured to recognize. Because of this, relationships with Dimiourgos were banned among the people of Despara.
