Born of magic Zandryians absorb one element of their choice when they first step foot on the Prime material plane, those who visit the elemental planes first get no such choice and are forced to take the element of the plane.

The element you choose will give two benefits, 1. you gain resistance to the element of your choice and whenever you use magic the stars within your body glow the color associated with that element, 2. You gain a cantrip related to that element 

You have proficiency in the Perception skill.

Accustomed to twilight and the night sky, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Elves don’t need to sleep. Instead, they meditate deeply, remaining semiconscious, for 4 hours a day. (The Common word for such meditation is “trance.”) While meditating, you can dream after a fashion; such dreams are actually mental exercises that have become reflexive through years of practice. After resting in this way, you gain the same benefit that a human does from 8 hours of sleep.

You get +2 dex and +1 wisdom

You can speak Common, Sylvan, and Primordial.
