Homebrew Bear Species Details
SMARTER THAN THE AVERAGE BEAR
Normally bears are quite large and bulky, and you are no exception. Although this does not necessarily mean you cannot be agile, in fact, quite the contrary: your formidable girth is not fat, but muscle. You are covered in fur, which varies from the more common brown to black, dark grey, and even black and white, although such variants are known as Pandas or Polar Bears. Typically you are 7-8 feet tall and weigh around 300-400 pounds.
Compared to other bears, however, you possess a unique intelligence that has caused you to seek out an existence in the world of people. You wear clothes and are skilled enough at acting human that all but the most observant believe that is what you are. Bears like you will attempt to emulate human behavior as well as possible, although at times their wild nature may peek through, such as a fondness for honey, salmon, marmalade sandwiches, picnic baskets, and long naps.
