Homebrew Callisto Species Details

The Callisto appeared seemingly out of thin air,  some say the bodies of chosen individuals were transformed into what we now know as the Callisto, taking humanoid like shapes,  the likeliness of man or the pointy ears of an elf, the stout but firm posture of a dwarf or the lizard features of a dragonborn, they al seem to be dipped into the night sky and put back onto the world - infected by star shards or marked by the gods. Some consider them saviors and some consider them as a sign of the end.
Created out of necessity by the rulers of the sky above, the Callisto are god-sent star children, physical embodiments of the stars above. A humanoid race of individuals put down on different spots of the world to help with its uneasy, unceasing warring nature and as a response to the ever increasing technology of wizards that pulls powers out of the stars for their magic, creating unearthly abominations or snuffing out the stars in the sky, this had to be stopped.

Callisto are gentle and often free spirited individuals that fall into either good or neutral alignments depending on which god they were born from and what were they put on Drunal to do. they wear humanoid masks inscribed with their names across the face and minimalistic features to resemble humanoid creature but they themselves have featureless faces, instead being an inky color scheme of their creator - and so is the rest of their bodies, almost human, almost skin yet submerged by starlight, featureless, smooth, luminescent and see-through skin makes them stand out for better or worse, announcing the Callisto everywhere they go, as something ethereal, spiritual or mystical that has been shackled to this physical plane.
With all their might and stature, these beings are not immortal, as if a flew in their design they all, without a doubt have a stardust shard, condensed into what looks like a black spot in the center weight of their body. a core to their power it acts as a heart - pumping celestial energy through their body - it has been only theorized as to how or why it works since the fluid like space inside the Callisto vaporizes instantly as it touches air and when completely drained of it their core disintegrates into sand making it impossible to study. They themselves don't seem to understand the power that flows through their bodies, A truly rare and exquisite race they are few and far between but not unkown. they do not have a family, nor do they flock together or commune - wanderers that bare a mark and a mission they go around helping those in need. quite a few of them become adventurers as an adaption method to this world, their way of being like the gods intended them to be, future leaders that cannot procreate. it is unknown how long they live for with how little they actually existed on the physical plane. Selune, Shar, Sooma and Nyx are their creators.
