Homebrew Blood Pudding Species Details
This monster rolls through dark corridors or marshes looking for sustenance and can consume the vital fluids of any creature it contacts. This sustenance most often takes the form of dungeon delvers that stumble upon the pudding. In marshes and swamps, the blood pudding feeds on animals and other natural fauna or any other living creature that happens to wanders. The few that become more self aware then their brother-en and they will start to adventure because they have no where else to go. When they interact with others they put on armor and fight only rarely removing their armor to fight.
Sight Beyond Sight. Blood Pudding don't have eyes, but can effectively see through echolocation and the vibrations of the ground. By constantly vibrating your head slightly, you emit an inaudible frequency and detect its reflection. Using this, you have blindsight up to 120 feet away, regardless of light. You are blind beyond this radius, however, and cannot perceive light, color, or any other visual phenomenon. You can't be blinded by light, but while deafened, you are considered to be also blinded. You can feel even the slightest of vibrations through the "earth" You have tremor-sense up to the distance a human/dwarf can see.
You have 30 walking speed and 30 Climbing Speed

You can speak common, undercommon, and the primary language of whatever humanoid you are currently taking the form of.

Blood Pudding Traits
+2 Dex +2 ConSpider Climb
The pudding can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.
Natural Resistance
Magic Resistance. The pudding has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects, They are also resistant to all magical damage
Damage Immunities. Bludgeoning from Nonmagical Attack, Water does not dilute you.
Racial Vulnerabilities
Drinking alcohol weakens an infused pudding and reduces the Constitution damage sustained from its disgorge attack by one-half for the next 1d4+1 rounds.
- Consuming pure vinegar causes an infused blood pudding to eject itself from the host in the same round the vinegar is consumed. A creature drinking pure vinegar must make a successful DC 18 CON save or be nauseated for 1d6 rounds. A blood pudding will not use its infuse attack against that host for one day.
Multiple Shapes
Shapeless. The Blood Pudding can fit into any crack or hole leaving behind all its items in their body that are too big for the hole or crack.
Shapely Form. The Blood Pudding can take form to any shape from monstrous to humanoid to plain shapeless forms. The Blood Sludge can wear any form of armor made in their size.
Natural Combatant
Pseudopod. Melee Weapon Attack: You have a 5 ft reach., one target. Hit: 14 (2d6 + Dex) bludgeoning damage plus (1d6) Necrotic damage per turn. In addition, nonmagical armor worn by the target is partly dissolved and takes a permanent and cumulative -1 penalty to the AC it offers. The armor is destroyed if the penalty reduces its AC to 10.
Bloody Glob. Ranged Weapon Attack: The range of this attack is 200/800 ft., one target. Hit: (2d6 + Dex) bludgeoning damage plus (1d6) Necrotic damage per turn. In addition, nonmagical armor worn by the target starts to dissolve and takes a permanent and cumulative -1 penalty to the AC it offers. The armor is destroyed if the penalty reduces its AC to 10.
Disgourge. A blood pudding that has infused itself with a host can force the creature’s blood out through its pores, eyes, ears, and mouth. This is a standard action that deals 1d8 points of Constitution damage each round. At Constitution 0, the host dies and the blood pudding feeds on the corpse. When sated, the pudding exits, and to onlookers it appears as if the slain creature is bleeding profusely.
Sticky. Gain advantage on strength checks made to grapple
