When determining your character’s ability scores, increase one score by 2 and increase a different score by 1, or increase three different scores by 1. 

Dragon Turtles have incredibly long lifespans far surpassing Elves and many creatures as they are said to view time differently than most creatures. The length of their lifespans has been somewhat passed down to their kin They walk hours after hatching, attain the size and development of a 10-year-old child after 3 years. They live to be well past 1,000 years old. 

Turtle Dragon Borns are taller and heavier than humans, standing well over 6 feet tall and averaging almost 850 pounds. Your size is Medium or Large.

You can breathe air and water.

Your claws are natural weapons, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with them, you deal slashing damage equal to 1d4 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.

You gain a unique breath weapon, damage resistance, and a special ability associated with your chosen Dragon Turtleborn type.

You have resistance to the damage type associated with your draconic ancestry.

Natural Armor. Due to your shell and the shape of your body, you are ill-suited to wearing armor. Your shell provides ample protection, however; it gives you a base AC of 17 (your Dexterity modifier doesn't affect this number). You gain no benefit from wearing armor, but if you are using a shield, you can apply the shield's bonus as normal.

You have a walking speed of 30ft and a swimming speed of 35ft.

If you fail to immerse yourself in water for at least 1 hour during a day, you suffer 1 level of exhaustion at the end of that day. You can recover from this exhaustion only through magic or by immersing yourself in water for at least 1 hour.

You can speak, read, and write Common, and one other language of your choice.
