Homebrew Children of the Black Pharaoh Species Details

The Children of the Black Pharaoh are spawns of the stalker among the stars, the eldritch horror of a thousand forms; Nyarlathotep. They were born from the steps of Nyarlathotep as he stalked the night sky, their bodies cannot be truly seen by normal eyes. Any individual who sees them will only see the visage of a normal being of their own race, masking the true horror of it's origins. Living as long as the stars themselves or until they're snuffed out like a candle in the dark. Maybe because of their origins is the reason why they cling to life through fiendish means, building their lives based on ambition, fear, strength, and ultimately; blood. Whatever drives them, these children are worshippers, scholars, and ambitious achievers that look upon the world with cold soulless eyes.

Physical Description

With their origins, these Children can be given form to an assortment of sizes. A Child can stand from 6 feet to a little over 7 feet tall and weigh from 125 to 250 pounds. Their skin whitens to be very pale, and hair holds no vibrant color other than black to white (can be curly, wavy, or straight); males might sport facial hair that is sparse or thick with a well toned frame while females might sport sharp features and a slender frame. They reach adulthood in their late teens and live as long as the stars themselves..

Personality

The Children of the Black Pharaoh are very cold yet observant beings. They like to be stoic and use a lot of analogies that connect to their origins to the stars. As such they are quite shallow and very taken by appearance. They desire to be as intelligent as their father and wise as the Old Gods themselves, they are repulsed by many races and at times pity them; seeing them as either vermin or as a pitiful being without true devotion. They are devoted to Nyarlathotep, but do have many short-termed affections as well.

Names

The Children of the Black Pharaoh don many names, many of which are aligned to the stars above or the ground below. Depending on their current environment they will determine their own names, at times donning a basic human name in a major city or a unique name in an orc tribe. Any name can be used for these faceless beings.
