Homebrew Diyani Species Details
The Diyani are a race of bipedal deerfolk who venerate and embody nature's bounty and its brutality. They're known for discovering druidic magic, which they use to destroy their predators and provide for their tribe with. They've shared their druidic knowledge with all of their allies among the other races of The Wounded Frontier. Most worship the Lord of the Forest, a mysterious deity few have scene. He is believed to be nature's avatar, a God that can bring forth blooming flowers or rot and famine.
The majority live in nomadic tribes throughout The Green Sea, a vast and deep forest, grazing where they rest. Since the arrival of the Settlers and the following Long Dark, some have built more permanent settlements in the forest, others have even moved into the Settlers' cities! Rumors are circulating through towns of a militant band of Diyani who have rejected the welcoming nature of their kind, killing all races foreign to Vintoaska they encounter.
