Homebrew Deathless resurrected Species Details
When you were brought back to the mortal world, a shard of your soul left, and that missing shard caused the whole spell to go bad. your soul came to earth without a body, so in your eagerness to be alive once again, you possessed a corpse and became like a zombie, but sentient and more intelligent. Some Deathless resurrected set out on a journey to find that lost part of their soul, while others set out for glory, trying to deny that they are not as quite "Beautiful" as they were in life.
Deathless resurrected look like the corpses they possess, and can not veil their appearances in illusion very easily, so they are usually abused by the common folk for their horrid appearance.
Their gender remains the same, but the cou\rpse they animate can change what gender they appear to be. They can not give birth to children unless wed to another Deathless resurrected.
Deathless resurrected Traits
As you possessed a corpse, you have unearthly constitution and can not feel pain, however the corpse you use as a body can collapse if it takes to much damage.Body for fuel
If the body you posses collapses when you drop to 0 hit points, rather than making death saving throws, you can choose to seek a new body in the area. you become a invisible ghost of yourself, and gain a flying speed of 250 feet. on your turn, you can use your action to dash, or to instinaniusly know where the closest lifeless body is. if you enter the body's space, you can use an action to possess it and then take control over it instantly. the bady then inherits your hit point maximum, and everything else. during this time you must make death saving throws as normal, and if you fail three, your ghost is pulled into the afterlife, and on three successes, your ghost is pulled back into the body you animated long ago and becomes stable.
Ability score increase
Your constitution score increases by 3, to a maximum of 20.
