Homebrew Awakened Flying Monkey Species Details
Flying monkeys come in a large variety of different colors, and it is rather uncommon to find two that are exactly the same.
They are generally charming, curious, intelligent creatures, with a penchant for mischief, making them very likely to lean toward chaotic alignments.
Awakened flying monkeys have lifespans comparable to humans.
Awakened Flying Monkey Traits
Flying monkeys are able to fly and climb at first level. Please consult your DM to determine if this will be allowed.Ability Score Increase
Your Dexterity score increases by 2, and your Charisma score increases by 1.
Age
Awakened flying monkeys are considered adults by age 3. They have a lifespan comparable to humans.
Alignment
Most flying monkeys tend toward chaotic alignments, but there are some exceptions.
Size
Awakened flying monkeys rarely grow to be taller than 2 feet tall, your size is small.
Speed
Your base walking speed is 25 feet.
Flight
You have a flying speed of 30 feet. To use this speed, you can’t be wearing medium or heavy armor.
Bite
Your teeth are natural weapons, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with them, you deal piercing damage equal to 1d4 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.
Languages
You can speak, read, and write Common and Sylvan.
