Homebrew Yuan-Ti Species Details
The Yuan-Ti race is a half-snake half-human creature that can come in many different forms. they may have the upper body of a human with the lower half of a snake tail; the upper body of a snake head and the lower body of human legs or other features and forms altogether.
Yuan-Ti Traits
The Yuan-Ti race has been seen as evil in the past but has since become a more civilized race. They usually like to stay within their own pits (communities) but every once in a while may wander out into the world.Darkvision
Darkvision: You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Magic Resistance
Magic Resistance: You have advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Poison Immunity
Poison Immunity: You are immune to poison damage and the poisoned condition.
Language
Languages: You can speak, read, and write Common, Abyssal, and Draconic.
Innate Spellcasting
Innate Spellcasting: You know the Poison spray cantrip. You can cast animal friendship an unlimited number of times with this trait, but you can target only snakes with it. Starting at 3rd level, you can also cast suggestion with this trait. Once you cast it, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
Bow Proficiency
You have proficiencies with all bows and crossbows.
Armor Proficiency
You are proficient in Light Armor
