Homebrew Steel Golem Species Details

Steel Golems are tall, armored constructs, granted full sentience by their creators. Steel Golems are forged from different metals, but they are called Steel Golems because that is the most common material for them to be made of.

Names.   Steel Golems often have simple, one word names, similar to warforged. Most Steel Golem names are types of igneous rocks. Names include:

Obsidian(Obsidian), Rhyolite(Rhyolite), Granite(Granite), Scoria(Scoria).

Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 2, your Constitution score increases by 2, and your Dexterity score decreases by 2.

Steel Golem Traits

Steel Golems gain abilities unique to their race, from the magic imbued into them.

Golem Strength

You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity. In addition, you can use two handed weapons with one hand, but the damage is one die category lower.

Languages

You can speak common, and two other languages of your choice.

Extra Proficiencies

You gain proficiency with light and medium armor, and Greataxes, Greatswords, and Mauls.
