Homebrew Axolotl Species Details

Small and cute, the axolotls are like baby salamanders. They have long bright red or pink sticky out things on the sides of their head and neck. They come in a variety of colours, from pitch black to a creamy white. They are known for their extreme regenerative abilities and their adorable smile.

Increases dexterity (DEX) score +2

Desperate measures

Sheds a limb to escape a hold. Escapes with half its walking speed and can only do this after a long rest. 

Regeneration

Can use an action to heal 1d4 damage. 

Darkvision

You get darkvision of 30 feet. In dim light, you can see everything in light greys andd whites. In darkness, you see everything in dark grey. 

Amphibious

Can breathe in water and air. If hasnt came into contact with water for a day, then it will gain 1 level of exhaustion.
