Homebrew Baobhan Sith Species Details

The darker parts of the Feywild are home to many alluring but dangerous peoples, including the Baobhan Sith. The Baobhan Sith are not unlike the fiendish Succubi as they also feed on the sensual  and psychic energies of humanoids except with a fey twist. The first Baobhan Sith spoke Elvish, Goblin, or Sylvan, and encounters with human visitors prompted many of them to learn Common as well.

Infused with the magic of the Feywild, Baobhan Sith, an exclusively female race, all come with supernatural beauty but of course coming from the Feywild, something is always a bit peculiar. For your Baobhan Sith, roll on the Fey Peculiarity table or choose an option from it. You’re also free to come up with your own characteristic if none of the suggestions below fit your character.

Creating Your Character

At 1st level, you choose whether your character is a member of the human race or of a fantastical race. If you select a fantastical race such as the Baobhan Sith in this section, follow these additional rules during character creation.

Ability Score Increases

Due to the Baobhan Sith’s seductive nature, they are naturally very charismatic. This has manifested itself as an increase of 2 to your Charisma score. Since the Baobhan Sith are used to traverse the lush forests of the feywild with ease, they gain an increase of 1 to their Dexterity Score.

Languages

Your character can speak, read, and write Common and Sylvan plus one exotic language that you and your DM agree is appropriate for the character.

Baobhan Sith are Fey creatures that come from the darker parts of the Feywild.

Life Span

The typical life span of a Baobhan Sith is around 400-500 years.This is dependent on how often they’ve kept up with their hunger. Albeit very rare, there are some Baobhan Sith that live up to a millennium.

Appearance

Baobhan Sith typically have agile, lithe bodies that allow for ease of movement in the forests. Crimson red hair and ruby red eyes are signature traits of all Baobhan Sith. While they all look pale, Baobhan Sith range from all skin tones

Darkvision

You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Your walking speed is 35 feet.

Baobhan Sith Magic

You know the druidcraft cantrip.

Starting at 1st Level, you can cast the misty step spell twice per long rest. Starting at 3rd level, you can cast the charm person spell with this trait. Starting at 5th level, you can also cast the vampiric touch spell with this trait. Once you cast charm person or vampiric touch with this trait, you can’t cast that spell with it again until you finish a long rest. You can also cast either of those spells using any spell slots you have of the appropriate level.

Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells when you cast them with this trait.
