Homebrew Cannissterss Species Details
From the beginning, Cannissterss knew one thing, and they knew it well: how to fight. Originally nomadic, they developed a sense of society, but instead of building their own kingdoms, they strived from taking them from others. They built up the kingdoms they stole, built education and economics on the basis of military, and continued to expand their knowledge on the art of war, invading dozens of kingdoms. Despite their size, the power in numbers alongside the combat prowess of the Cannissterss proved them an insurmountable foe for the poor societies nearby. Eventually, their kingdom and population grew so large that there was a struggle for resources, and the structure of their society was falling apart. That was when, on a fortuitous expedition by one of their armies, the kingdom of the Ceerkits were discovered. The Ceerkits were a mostly peaceful, and incredibly resourceful race, essentially perfect for what the Cannissterss needed. They ruthlessly invaded, plundering even the poorest of homes in the kingdom, and eventually secured all of their resources. The cycle repeated, the kingdom grew too large, and the Cannissterss would hunt down the Ceerkits once more, taking everything from their new civilization, over and over. One year, however, when the Cannissterss tried to plunder the Ceerkits, they were decimated. The Ceerkits had found refuge in the vast desert of the country, and the Cannissterss, being folk of water, stood no chance. That year saw the worst famine that the Cannissterss had ever known. Eventually, there was infighting within the military and riots in the streets. Those that were lucky managed to escape, become refugees scattered across the continent, but many of the kingdom were killed during the anarchy. The supreme reign of the Cannissterss was known mainly to those who they destroyed, but there are a small few who wish to carry on the societies ideals.
