Homebrew Barkfolk Species Details
A race of tree people, Barkfolk are a possibility whenever a ritual to resurrect someone occurs in a forest. They have a near humanoid shape, which their sudden emergence into life triggers them morphing into from regular trees. They have a fondness for forests, regardless of whether or not one is their own, and have the ability to speak to trees and plants. They are large and peaceful for the most part, though their personalities usually differ based on the type of tree they originally were.
