Homebrew Bearfolk Species Details

Bearfolk are large bear-like bipedal humanoids that typically live in small packs in dense forests. They are known to be anywhere from 8 feet tall to 12 feet tall.

Bearfolk Traits

Bearfolk are swift in spite of their size, and they can easily climb trees when provoked by predators. They also have large hands with sharp claws that they can use as natural weapons that deal 1d4 slashing damage.

Bear Claws

Bearfolk have large claws that deal 1d4 bludgeoning damage and count as a natural weapon. 

Hibernating Power

On a Short Rest, Bearfolk can choose to sleep for the full hour and disregard rolling for regain hit die and instead regain max possible hit points. However, during this Short Rest, the Bearfolk must remain sleeping for the full Rest.
