Homebrew Yhengeri Species Details
Born to Adapt
Tall, slender, and always shifty. The Yhengeri are wanderers of the plains of existence and their physique reflects it. Built thin and of average height to most humanoids also sharing many similar features. There are some differences though, the eyes of the Yhengeri are bottomless like looking into a rift of time. Thier skin is slightly translucent and on closer inspection one can see thier vanes with blood pumping through them. Speaking of blood, the blood of the Yhengeri is ever changing, ever adapting to its environment.
The Caravans of Family
There are two ways a Yhengeri are born. One is of family with a mother and father, the other is know as Riftkin. A Riftkin is a Yhengeri that is born of a rift between dimensions like the matrons of the race itself, though uncommon it may be. Families in Yhengeri culture are known as caravans, a tightly knit groups that travel the plains together trading merchandise for survival. That leaves one group alone. Riftkin have no family and while some are left to wander the plains others can be found. "If found while still under the age of 100 a Yhengeri Riftkin will be adopted by the caravan elder and raised as one of their own until the time of thier departure at age 100".
Highwalkers:
Even among the secluded Yhengeri the Highwalkers are considered hermits. Not many travel together and if they do it's normally only one or two. Then again they have no reason to travel together, for they make habits of traveling in the upper plains of existence aside from the astral sea. The Highwalkers are intellectuals by nature and generally think down upon other races. Thus they seek company in the celestials.
Lowwalkers:
Hardened to the core and skeptics of everything. Lowwalkers are oddly social among those of the race. There are little to none of the Lowwalkers that do not travel in large and tightly knit caravans. Lowwalkers are wise and for good reason. Thier daily lives consist of constant trading and dealings with demons and fiends. Lowwalkers make habits of traveling the lower plains, with the exemption of limbo.
Astralwalker:
Heeded be the ones who cast themselves adrift in the astral sea and limbo. Thier minds are never quite right after spending so long adrift with the dead and mad. Though persist they do, both nimble of mind and body thier minds have handed to deal with the stresses of the maddened damned and the gith. There is a mutual respect with the gith of both realms and astralwalkers though more of a nonaggression treaty. While the gith offer ships to travel the sea, the Yhengeri will offer navigation. That is how they survive.
Yhengeri Traits

You were born from the elements and know how to master them. Your life of travel has thought you to shift your resistances. Once a day you can shift your natural resistance to one of fire, cold, or lightning.

Your Charisma score increases by 2.
Age
Yhengeri reach maturity at age 50 and can live on for more than 500 years. Though they do not begin to count their age till they reach 100 years of age.
Alignment
Independent and self-reliant, Yhengeri tend toward a neutral alignment.
Size
Yhengeri are as varied as their mortal parents but are generally built like humans, standing anywhere from 5 feet to over 6 feet tall. Your size is Medium.
Speed
Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Astralwalker
