Homebrew Boviline Species Details

Demihumans come in all sorts of shapes and sizes, numerous subraces each with their own abilities. Their main characteristic, (or at least the one that’s noticed first) is the animal ears, and tail, and sometimes horns or claws they have; despite looking mostly human. They are considered an infernal race, and rightly so. They do have fiendish blood in them. So while they may look like a cross between humans and animals, they are in reality more related to tieflings.

 

a Subrace of Demihuman bearing cow/bull like appendages. Female Bovilines take on the cow like traits, but do have smaller horns on heir head. Male Bovilines take on the Bull aspects, including the large sharp horns. They usually live in the central climates, working as farmers or inkeeps. Many common folk compare them to Minotaurs, but the key differences are appearance, and heritage. Bovilines look mostly human, with the tail, horns, and other attributes, whereas Minotaurs are practically bipedal bulls with arms. In heritage, Minotaurs are abyssal, where Bovilines are infernal, like all other Demihumans.

Herd mentality

When in a group of 4 or more allies, all allies in group gain a bonus to AC and hit points. +1 to AC for a group of 4 or more. +5 health for a group of 4, +10 for a group of 5 or more.

Horns

In combat you may attack with your horns as a bonus action. 

Attack does 1d8 piercing damage or 1d6 bludgeoning damage depending on how you use them.
