Homebrew alien Species Details
Aliens are heavily based off the gnome race, and thus gnomes should be referred to in situations in which this race's traits are unclear.
- Ability Score Increase. Your charisma score increases by 2.
- Age. Aliens mature slowly, and are expected to reach adulthood by the age of 80. Typically their lives can span from 120 - 140 years, with exceptionally healthy aliens living up to 160 years old.
- Alignment. Most aliens fall along the Neutral spectrum, and have a naturally charismatic and calm nature. They enjoy spending time indoors, and most pursue careers as engineers or techies.
- Size. Aliens are between 3 and 4 feet tall and weigh around 40 pounds. Their size is Small.
- Speed. Their base walking speed is 25 feet.
- Darkvision. Accustomed to life indoors, aliens have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. They can see in dim light within 60 feet of them as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. They can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
- Alien Cunning. They have advantage on all Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma saves against magic.
- Languages. They can read, speak, and write Common, and can read and speak Drudic.
- Ability Score Increase. Their Intelligence score increases by 1.
- Natural Techie Bro. They know Magic Trick. Intelligence is their spellcasting modifier for it.
- Speak with Small Beasts. Through sound and gestures, they may communicate simple ideas with Small or smaller beasts.
