Homebrew Bambi Fairy Species Details

Bambi fairies are 10-15 centimetres in height, and are above average intelligence from humans. Bambi fairies are known for their antlers on their heads, which they usually decorate with freshly bloomed flowers. 

Bambi fairies live in large colonies, often sharing spaces with small animals and/or positivity fairies. 

Most Bambi fairies do not speak Common or any language developed by humanoids. Instead they speak Sylvan. It is rare to find a Bambi fairy that speaks any language developed by humanoids, let alone Common. 

Bambi fairies inhabit forests, and usually build colonies in logs or trees, and sometimes bushes. 

Bambi fairies are an androgynous species, and reproduce by planting a "life-seed" into the petals of a dead flower. Bambi fairies posses a "life-seed", which is a magical orb that contains another fairy soul (usually a deceased's soul). When placed onto a petal of a dead flower, the petals magically transform into another Bambi fairy. 

Bambi fairies are endangered, as their appearance is quite charming. Bambi fairies have been known to be captured by collectors or by merchants, often destroying colonies and making Bambi fairies lose their life-seeds, as they are also taken by merchants. 

Selling Bambi fairies and Bambi fairy life-seeds are now recognized as illegal worldwide, yet Bambi fairies are very close to extinction due to poaching and illegal trade.
