Homebrew Yarny Species Details

Age: they live about 30 years before needing to replace their yarn.

 

Alignment: they tend to be good but can be evil.

 

Size: they are about 1 foot tall. Their size is tiny.

 

Speed: your speed is 20 feet, and will increase my 10 feet with everyone you combine with.

Yarny Traits

Squishy body: Resistance to bludgeoning damage but weak slashing damage .

Yarmor

Wearing leather, padded leather, or hide armor increases your AC by 1

Squishy Body

resistant to bludgeoning and cold damage but weak to slashing and fire damage.

Yarny Unite

You and other yarnies have an innate ability to combine forms. When you combine forms your HP combines. You still take turns as normal and use your own character stats (if I had 13 STR and my friend had 15 STR, I would use 13 STR and they would use 15 STR). For every 3 yarny that combine, the size increases by 1 level.

As an action, can extend your arm 15 feet out to pick up an item. When the arm is out, you have disadvantage on attack rolls. It takes an action to return your hand.

When you are downed, a party member can use their action to make a dexterity (Sleight of hand) check DC 13 in order to bring you back to 1 HP.

You gain an extra hit point every level

Secret Bond

You have a heart shaped locket that you can put things like hair in and the person the thing came from is charmed by you for an hour. They need to make a WIS save (DC= 8+proficiency bonus+constitution modifier.
