A race of tall headless humanoids, their faces set in their chest, long lanky arms that grow almost to their knees, with long manes of dirty tangled hair growing between their shoulder blades. The skin colors of this race vary just as much as humans. With wildly varying hair colors. Where some of their kind have their eyes where their nipples would by, others have them in their shoulders. While their noses and mouths are always set in their chests. The nose being in the middle by the collar bone, and the mouth at the bottom of the ribcage.
Being nomadic has spread this headless race across many lands. Though they do prefer forested areas or plains. Herding their animals and hunting the local game. Prioritizing the largest game. Though some do reside in towns and cities. Selling their services as mercenaries, bodyguards, or physical laborers. Most become great fighters, and hunters, using large bows, and spears to take down their prey, or defend themselves from raiders or robbers. But there are some who will become druids, being seen as the tribe's wise ones and medics, giving them a large amount of political power.
The race came about from a few human tribes that had desecrated a favored forest of an ancient now dead god. Who cursed them to become ugly monsters, their heads disappearing as their faces grew in their chests. Their shoulders sprouting long messy strands of hair. And their bodies growing and stretching to their tall heights. This curse, while making their appearance monstrous, has given them basic magical powers. Only coming out in their carving of sigils for war, hunting, and protection.
