Homebrew Aberrant Monstrosity Species Details
Some of these alien creatures come into their own and through their own willpower evolve into a physical form beyond an aberrant sludge. Such creatures might resemble an advanced Mimic or a humanoid Gibbering Mouther. But others must create a symbiotic bond with a host to survive. Nonetheless, these chaotic and powerful alien creatures come in all shapes, sizes, and colors.
If you intend to play a humanoid bonded with such a creature, consider the creatures bond with you replacing any other features you might have gained from your true race. When manifesting an Aberrant Monstrosity's Physical form and traits (which you can do at will), such physical descriptors and traits as listed below would be presented only then, Otherwise you assume the physical nature of your true race.
Aberrant Monstrosity Traits

When aberrant monstrosities come into physical form, they show off a stature anywhere between 3-8 feet and adapt their mass so that they weigh between 60 and 450 pounds. You can choose between being Small and Medium.

Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Due to the tendrils an aberrant body can form and its immense strength, they gain a movement all but unseen by most folk. You are always under the effects of the Spider Climb spell.

You have advantage on all strength ability checks

You count as large when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.

You don't suffer the penalties for being unable to breath, and have resistance to acid damage.
