Homebrew Three Quarterling Species Details

A Three Quarterling is what some would call person of mixed Human and Halfling heritage. Chances are pretty good you are only vaguely aware of your mixed heritage as this particular blending is not uncommon. If you grew up in a place where people think of themselves as human and your family thought of themselves as Human then Human you are. If you were raised among the Halflings your family likely made their burrows a little taller but that would be it, you would consider yourself a Halfling. no one says Three Quarterling unless they are being a jackass.

Ability Score Increase

Choose one Ability Score to add a bonus of +2.

Feat

A Three Quarterling picks a feat at the start like a Variant Human.

Size

Standing between 4 and 5 feet tall, you fit in with either Halflings or Humans. Your size is either medium or small.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Lucky

When you roll a 1 on the d20 for an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, you can reroll the die and must use the new roll.

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Common. many Three Quarterlings exist in a diaspora from traditional Halfling lands and culture, and as such may have lost that connection. If being able to speak Halfling is relevant to your characters backstory pick something in your background tab that adds a language and choose Halfling.
