Homebrew Wendigo Species Details

Humans are cursed by a nameless, ancient, deity. They cling to their humanity as they are forced to consume human flesh for the rest of eternity. They have long limbs, their bones are exposed particularly in their chest cavity, and the muscle that remains looks like it is slowly withering away into non-existence. Their skulls have been deformed into deer or fawn skulls. They usually try to repay the mysterious deity by becoming a druid in their name. They are commonly found in the Forests that turned them into the beasts they now are but,  they are not restricted to such forests. As mentioned previously they mainly stay in the forest they became cursed in, making small, reclusive communities. They mainly build their communities far from roads and other points of travel. Most of their interaction with humans are hunters and trappers encroaching on their territory. They scare the hunters/trappers by chasing them to the nearest road or travel route. If the humans are caught the Wendigo scary them using a mix of illusionary magic and their hideous appearance. They have been vocal points for legends...until now.
