Homebrew Wick Species Details

Wicks can be most recognized by the glowing behind their eyes that appears as if a brightly flickering candle is burning in their heads. Some believe this to be bioluminescence while others believe they have a literal candle in their heads and when the wick is burned up their time is up. Wicks have wax-like skin that is sensitive to direct sunlight so they most often wear hoods and cloaks over their armor.

The original Wicks were blessed by a god at the request of a father, but the blessing is hidden by appearing as a curse. These creatures are always present when the world is about to change, whether they are a part of the chaos or just silent observers they are called to the sight. Most Wicks are depressed by their blessing, but there are quite a few who understand the blessing for what it is and are jovial because of it. Wicks have become rarer over time as many of them die during the events that draw them.
