Homebrew Deathly Howler Species Details
Anthro Skull Wolves that stand anywhere from 7'-9' tall, normally standing on their wolf like feet, and being able to sprint on all fours leads to them being dead right frightening beasts of death. Known as the 'Deathly Howlers', they take the look of Large Canine beasts with rib bones protruding from their torso, and four large Horns for ramming/impaling foes in battle. In Dark Legends it's said if you hear their howl, you will be added to the souls of victims they have devoured when they come for you next. They are covered in Abnormally massive quantities of fluffy Black, White, or silver fur and have canine traits, and a tail, their faces are that of skulls with horrifying horns. Their eyes glow unnatural colors varying of Red, Blue, White, Purple, and even Green at times. Their bodies are cold to the touch, and they bleed black blood. In Legends it is said they are to be the Hounds of Death, when unlucky travelers Hear their Howls, it's considered confirmation you are doomed to die by one of these monstrosities. Their howling is unnatural and far different from wolves, as it is echoed with the sounds of spiritual whispers, shrieks, and agony of the dead before the true terror commences in an unnatural howl that makes the hopes of a quick death, much wanted.
