Homebrew Celestine Elf (ver 1.1) Species Details

Elves are a magical people of otherworldly grace, living in the world but not entirely part of it. They live in places of ethereal beauty, amid ancient forests or in silvery spires glittering with faerie light, where soft music drifts through the air and gentle fragrances waft on the breeze. Elves love nature and magic, art and artistry, music and poetry, and the good things of the world.

Slender and Graceful

With their unearthly grace and fine features, elves appear hauntingly beautiful to humans and members of many other races. They are slightly shorter than humans on average, ranging from well under 5 feet tall to just over 6 feet. They are more slender than humans, weighing only 100 to 145 pounds. Males and females are about the same height, and males are only marginally heavier than females.

celestite elves are known to have from a pale blue to almost translucent white skin with eyes ranging from a deep blue reminiscent to that of a pure spring of water to a pale rose gold which is known to only show to the "true elves" which is to say that they tend to fall into those of nobility however we have records of the lower class having them however rare it is

A Timeless Perspective

the celestite elves are known to live around three to four millennia however this has never been confirmed we have known that they can live more than the average elf with the oldest confirmed elf being one thousand years three hundred old 

Hidden kingdom among the sky 

the celestite elves are born and raised in the floating kingdom of celestine where they live and learn all they need till the age they decide they are adults then they are sent to a random town and are then sent on a twenty to one hundred year-long adventure for them to return to celestine

Exploration and Adventure

celestite elves go from adventure as a keystone part of their life they have to experience the thrill of battle and understand how the balance of life affects all who live within the confines of it all after they return from a usually twenty to one hundred year adventure they return to celestine to give their knowledge to the newest generation 

Charming However Curious

however their glow from pale blue to almost ghostly skin they are known around the material planes to be very charming yet always amazed by a new experience it is said to gain the trust of a celestite elf is to just show them something they do not know 

Dwarves. “Dwarves are interesting however their methods seem the most unusual, they always seem to find a way that works"

Dragonborn. "Dragonborns are rather unusual in their form of day to day life always proud of how they are even though they are looked at with disdain and fear from those around them I find it confusing how they stay so proud" 

Humans. “with how long they live I wonder how long they could handle grudges I saw one human accidentally keep a book they borrowed and in 20 years the human whose book was accidentally stolen was still upset with the other and had an intergenerational feud with them"

Celestite Elf Names

celestite Elves are considered children until they declare themselves adults, sometime after the hundredth birthday, and before this period they are called by child names.

In their adulthood, they receive an adult name and a celestial name their celestial name is derived from the god whose blood was used for their ancestor's creation

Male Adult Names: At't Ar'at Asr't Ba't Be're Me'ce 

Female Adult Names:  At'a Be'ra Ce'ra De'ta tr'ea 

Celestial Names (all celestial names are derived from the name of the God whose blood was used to make the celestite elves ancestor):   an example of a name: Zeus would be Ze'ruos Ze'ca which involve the first two letters of the god's name while they could also use the last two letters of their name: Re'sous Ka'us Ne'makus

Your Dexterity score increases by 2 and your intelligence by 1

Age

Although celestine elves reach physical maturity at about the same age as humans, the elven understanding of adulthood goes beyond physical growth to encompass worldly experience. A celestine elf typically claims adulthood and an adult name around the age of 100 and can live to be 3000 years old.

Alignment

celestine elves follow a path of thinking that derives their life to be "live to the length at which you die" which means that they tend to stay more into the neutral in retrospect of their cousins with most of them following the path of good in the highest form of belief (most celestine elves will stay either at neutral or on the border of neutral for there alignment)

Size

Elves range from under 5 to over 6 feet tall and have slender builds. Your size is Medium.

Godly heritage

From your godly heritage, you are in a blood pact with said god and are allowed to choose one spell from the sorcerer class.

as you know the celestine script naturally you can configure light into your fingertips and write out the celestine script ( you know the dancing lights spell)

Fey Ancestry

You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can’t put you to sleep.

Trance

Elves don’t need to sleep. Instead, they meditate deeply, remaining semiconscious, for 4 hours a day. (The Common word for such meditation is “trance.”) While meditating, you can dream after a fashion; such dreams are actually mental exercises that have become reflexive through years of practice. After resting in this way, you gain the same benefit that a human does from 8 hours of sleep.
