Homebrew Warden Species Details

Similar to the soon coming Minecraft Wardens, Wardens rely on their ears instead of their eyes, and after many centuries of harshly honing their abilities, they have finally developed the ability to see at night.

Haunted and Unfortunate Hate

A Warden's eyes are often fully white, grey, or pitch black with no visible pupils. A Warden's hair is often dark blue or dark cyan, and their skin ranges from cyan to light blue. They are quite tall, ranging from 6'4 to 7'8 and ranging around 220 to 250 pounds. They have no facial hair or body hair, and favor ragged and old clothes more than normal ones. They are not divided by gender, nor do they normally have one.

Wardens loved humans when they first exited their caves, they were curious about them and studied them quite a lot, since by then they'd developed the ability to see at night. Humans began to notice "strange, blue skinned creatures" around their town borders and eventually chased them out. Despite this tidbit of the past haunting them forever, they love human children and often live in ravine or valley caves and search for lost children at night. If they found any children, they would be curious about the mysterious creature, and try to take them in. These children would grow around Wardens, and gain either Blindsight or Darkvision.

Almost Ageless

A Warden can live up to 10,000 years, aging one human year every century. This makes them quite old, but they are also quite territorial. They are territorial until the last few days of their life. A Warden also has a small ability in it's body where if it's human child wishes to live longer, they can form into their child's heart, and the two become one.

Hidden or Caves

Most Wardens live in caves, unallowed to leave their home until ten years after birth, first two spent trying to wake up and relying on their parents for survival until they wake up. Very few Wardens live among human society, either through disguise and/or straight up lying.
