Homebrew Sucubuss Species Details

Succubuses use their customizable appearance to seduce people and use them for their objective.

Sucubuss Traits

Beautiful fiends who thrive on the corruption of mortal souls.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Darkvision.

Because you are a fiend, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Languages

You can read, speak, and write Common and your choice of Abyssal or Infernal.

Ability Score Increase.

Your Dexterity and Charisma scores each increase by 1.

Age.

Succubi are ageless demons, typically reaching adulthood between the ages of 15 and 19 and will not die of old age.

Alignment.

Due to their fiendish natures, succubi often tend toward evil alignments. Neutral or good succubi are extremely rare, but not unheard of. They have no particular tendency toward or against lawful or chaotic alignments.

Size.

Succubi are shapeshifters; however, in general, they are similar in size to most other humanoid races. Your size is Medium.

Wings

You have a pair of wings that give you a flying speed of 60 feet. You cannot use this fly speed if you are wearing medium or heavy armor or if your current form granted by your shapechanger trait does not have wings.

Fiendish Nature

Your creature type is Fiend. You are vulnerable to radiation damage and immune to fire damage.

Shapechanger

Shapechanger. As an action, you can transform your appearance or revert to your natural form. You can't duplicate the appearance of a creature you've never seen, and you revert to your natural form if you die.

You decide what you look like, including your height, weight, facial features, the sound of your voice, coloration, hair length, sex, and any other distinguishing characteristics. You can make yourself appear as a member of another race; you lose the flying speed granted by your wings trait if your current form does not have wings; otherwise, none of your game statistics change. You also can't appear as a creature of a different size than you, and your basic shape stays the same; if you're bipedal, you can't use this trait to become quadrupedal, for instance. Your clothing and other equipment don't change in appearance, size, or shape to match your new form, requiring you to keep a few extra outfits on hand to make the most compelling disguise possible. In order to be able to change the appearance of your false appearance, you need to focus for 10 minutes and after making the change, you cannot do it for another hour. If you get distracted, you have to start over.

Even to the most astute observers, your ruse is usually indiscernible. If you rouse suspicion, or if a wary creature suspects something is amiss, you have advantage on any Charisma (Deception) check you make to avoid detection of your true nature.

Devilish beauty

One humanoid you see within 30 feet of you must make a DC {{modifier:cha}} saving throw at the Wisdom or will be charmed. The enchanted target carries out verbal or telepathic commands from you. If the target suffers any harm or receives a suicide command, it may retake the save, ending the effect with a success. If the target breaks out of the elefct, they are immune to your Charm for the next 24 hours.

You can only have one charmed at a time. If he charms another, the effect on the previous target ends.

Devil's kiss.

You are trying to kiss a person within 5 ft. The character must make a strength save (difficulty 15). If he is in love with you, he automatically fails. If it fails, it takes d4 psychic damage for which you heal. When you have max hp, you get a temporary hit point equal to {{(maxhp/2)@rounddown}}. Additionally, the kissed target must make a force defense throw at the start of its turn to break away, or it loses its turn. If the kiss was the last action and the target did not break free, you can spend the whole action to attack him again. If the target's hp is reduced to 0 in this way, it dies.

This spell's damage increases by 1d4 when you reach 5th level (d8), 11th level (d10), and 17th level (d12).
