Homebrew Wolvenkin Species Details
"Lea called out in a howl, almost a wail for help. A Human came by. A Wolf... He thought. Lea saw the Human nearby. "You!" She spoke in Common. The Human was startled. "Save me from these ill-mannered Hunters at once!" The Human was quite startled the "Wolf" knew Common, but obeyed. He negotiated the Hunters off the Wolvenkin, and turned to see if she had any wounds he needed to tend to.
She was gone."
-Old Wolvenkin Lore, Chapter 19, Page 278.
Wolvenkin Folktales often date back to a thousand years ago, where a Wolvenkin named Lea used a Human's mind to decep him into eventual madness. Humans have a different version of this tale, however, where the Human did nothing for Lea and left her to die. Humans used this tale to tell their trusting children to trick them into believing Wolvenkin are the enemy, but this backfired on Half-Wolvenkin; they end up running for safety in their Wolvenkin friends' territory.
Wolf-like, but Only Descendants
Wolvenkin have hair and eyes dependent on which wolf they are descended from. For example, a Savannah Wolvenkin would have attributes similar to that of a Maned Wolf, that lives in Savannah's. Their height is normally similar to that of a human's, their weight also is similar to a human's, and they have barely any facial hair or body hair. They like ragged clothes, or comfy relax clothes, and love jewelry. In fact, they are bribed easily with jewels and jewelry.
Century-Long Wolves
Wolvenkin can live until almost a century after they fully mature, at 13 years old. They are likely to be able to control themselves when getting something of their own gain involves killing or harming a fellow Wolf or Wolvenkin, and likely to accept anything to kill a human, due to changing their lore for their own greedy gain.
Hunting Experts
Wolvenkin are well able to adapt quickly, accepting most things thrown at them as a challenge. They also have great knowledge of terrain, which helps their pack survive in the winter well if they run out of food. A Wolvenkin will kill any prey they see if their pack is low on food, even if it means suicide.
Pack Ultima's
Wolvenkin have their own ranks, such as Ultima, Alpha, and even Omega. The ranks are as follows:
Ultima: Ultima's are a rank which haven't been given out in years, often abandoned by the leader of the pack, since the Ultima rank has a strict and high criteria.
Alpha: Alpha's are often the wife/husband of the leader, being Omega's. They have a high amount of responsibilities, and are mainly responsible for setting up patrols around pack territory.
Omega: Omega's are often the pack leader, and have multiple responsibilities, on top of needing an heir. Omega's are natural leaders, and face a very brutal test to see if they can become leader. First, they are taken to an arena and faced with multiple situations to see if they are smart enough to lead the pack. Next, they are faced with a fight to the death; no backing down. No rules either, just kill the other before you are killed yourself.
Packs
A Wolvenkin Omega treats their pack members like a Human treats their closest friends; everyone is important, no sacrifices are to be made. This is Teaching 101 of the Wolvenkin Code, a strict code made to teach Wolvenkin children how to treat the rest of their pack.
Wolvenkin Names
Wolvenkin names are separated by rank, and if they are breed with an Aasimar instead of two Wolvenkin, they will often have wings and be given an Aasimar name. All Wolvenkin are also given an "after name", as well, depending on their age.

Languages
You can speak, read and write Common and Sylvan.
Cave Wolvenkin
You are a Wolvenkin who was born and grew up in a large network of caves, which was your village. You were forced to never explore the outside world by your pack's leader, but one night you broke the rule and went into the outside world. You knew not to return, however the village grew worried of where you could've gone. You have a shockingly accurate yet forced and unnecessary on this adventure where your companions could easily tell the same thing, and you have black or white hair, and the opposite color for your eyes, however white eyes do not mean your character is blind. Used to the darkest caves, bare minimum lantern light, and nearly invisible Wolvenkin, you quickly adjusted to this new life and are willing to help your friends in any way you can.
Ability Score Increase
Your Intelligence or Wisdom Score increases by 1.
Alignment
Cave Wolvenkin are of any alignment, due to light communication of the outside world, or as other Cave Wolvenkin put it(who haven't gone outside because they abide the rules unlike you), the "light world".
Superior Darkvision
Used to normal invisible other Cave Wolvenkin, you gain better Darkvision than Misty Wolvenkin. You can see in dim light within 120 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Eastern Wolvenkin
You are descended from the Eastern Wolves, and you are a Wolvenkin who grew up in temperate deciduous forests. Used to constant change, reddish green leaves, and sometimes even leafless birch trees, this new territory and lands you explore are new, while it's scary, you are brave and will face these fears head-on.
Ability Score Increase
Your Wisdom Score goes up by 1.
Alignment
Eastern Wolvenkin lean towards Lawful alignments, as their packs have extremely strict rules.
Hunting Expert
On top of your strong bite, you have advantage on any attack roll on an enemy at least one size larger than you.
Forest Wolvenkin
You are a Wolvenkin who was born in and grew up in a normal forest. Used to being surrounded by trees, other Forest Wolvenkin, and your own type of freedom(while still following the laws), this adventure is quite new to you, as you have to follow different rules, and are surrounded by those who you'd normally consider "outsiders" or "intruders".
Secondary Ability Score
Unlike your other Wolvenkin cousins, where they get a +1 to a specific score, you can choose this score.
Alignment
Forest Wolvenkin lean more towards Chaotic, Good and Neutral alignments, as they are kind-hearted people but they like having their own freedom(there are no laws in most of the Forest Wolvenkin Packs. Really, it's the leaders' faults for deciding on this).
"Nature Kid"
You are used to nature everywhere around you, and know how to predict forest weather easily. You are also called "Nature Kid" and "Nature Nerd" by those who don't understand your nature(PUN UNINTENDED), and you will have your nose in a book if it's about the history of a forest or important part of nature. You gain proficiency in Nature, and Advantage in Survival checks relating to weather in a forest and Investigation checks relating to scents.
Maned Wolvenkin
You are a Wolvenkin who was born and grew up in a desert or savannah. Used to sand everywhere you step and the occasional grass patch, barely any water, having to drink cactus juice if you were thirsty, and barely any nature, this new land of adventure is unfamiliar and scary for you, but you know you can brave through it with your friends.
Ability Score Increase
Your Intelligence Score goes up by 1.
Alignment
Maned Wolvenkin lean more towards Neutral Alignments, as they have in between feelings most of the worlds races.
Berry Survival
You have advantage on Survival checks relating to berry/food locations.
Misty Wolvenkin
You are not descended from any specific wolf, but you were born in a Misty Forest or generally foggy biome. Used to mist, leaf-bare trees(or purple leafed trees), commonly being unable to find your footing, and seemingly non-existent ground below you(or just camouflaging dirt, a.k.a. a lack of grass), you want to explore the land ahead of you as much as you can so you can share stories of your travels far through the misty forests so Misty Wolvenkin children who want to travel outside of the Forest know what to expect.
Ability Score Increase
Your Wisdom Score increases by 2, and another of your choosing increases by 1.
Alignment
Misty Wolvenkin lean towards Neutral alignments, having not known much of the world, and thus having little relationships with the people outside.
Darkvision
Adjusted to dark fog and little light, you gain Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Tundra Wolvenkin
You are descended from the Alaskan Tundra Wolf, and you grew up in a high mountain or extremely cold place. Used to snow everywhere you stepped, sometimes torches, and constant falling snow, you must adapt to this new life of adventuring and faster changing.
Ability Score Increase
Your Constitution or Strength Score goes up by 1.
Alignment
You lean towards mainly Neutral alignments and Good alignments.
Small Eater
