Homebrew Corgwn Species Details
As legend goes, it was the Fey who created Corgis to be their guardians, companions, and steeds. Little do many know, this legend extends further. The Corgwn were derived from the Fey Corgi, to serve the Fey in other areas. Due to their loyalty and natural charisma, they are perfect ambassadors, messengers, and protectors of the portals to the Fey Wild.
Corgwn Traits
These are the traits that your Corgwn character will have.Ability Score Increase
Due to your Corgi nature, you're very good at convincing people that what you want is exactly what they want. It's almost like you're cute and adorable or something. Your Charisma score increases by two.
Age
Corgwn are beings of the Fey Wild, as such time does not flow the same for them as it does for mortals. Corgwyn can live for many years without appearing to have aged at all.
Alignment
Although generally friendly and positive forces in the world, Corgwn possess some of the mischief of the Fey. They remain in general Neutral leaning, but tend more chaotic than lawful. A little bit of Corgi mischief never hurt anybody.
Darkvision
Given the canine DNA, Corgwn can see in dark and dim light almost as if it was day; up to 60 feet.
Languages
As ambassadors for the Fey, you speak, read, and write both Sylvan and Common. These are the languages you're most familiar with, but choose one other language to round out your linguistic skills.
Keen Corgi
Everybody knows that canines in general are very adept with their senses, but they are also a good judge of character. As a Corgwn, you are proficient in both Perception and Insight.
Fey Corgi
As a being of Feywild, the trickery of traveling between realms does not affect you; this includes time warp, memory loss, and other disorientation. As a multidimensional being, at level 5 you receive the spell Misty Step, and at level 10 you receive the spell Dimension Door - using these spells does not affect your spell slots.
