Homebrew Balverine Species Details
The Balverine was brought into existence purely on accident, the result of an alchemist trying to create a serum to make feral werewolves more docile for domestication instead created a creature more cunning, faster, and more deadly. The Balverine is more aware of itself which increases its intellect allowing it to speak fluently as if it were in its human form, it also can change willingly from its human form into its cursed form day or night. The Balverine uses its long claws and teeth to tear apart its prey and its agility makes it an apex hunter. One benefit the Balverine has over a werewolf is that it has the ability to choose whom it can share its curse, its curse is spread the same way as a werewolf.

The affected creature must make a successful WIS save (DC 15) or become frightened. on a successful save nothing happens to the targeted creature. While frightened by this trait, a creature must use its full movement speed to move away from you on each of its turns, unless there is nowhere to move. At any point the effected creature can use its action to make a wisdom saving throw on a success the effect ends. If the creature ends its turn in a location where it does not have line of sight to you, the creature automatically makes a Wisdom saving throw at advantage.
