Homebrew Axolotli Species Details

Descendants of the God of Fire and Lightning, the Axolotli are a friendly amphibious folk that have been imbued with magic that makes them far more intelligent than their beastial cousins, and bestows them the ability to survive one land, though they still prefer moist climates. They also posess regenerative abilities that allow them to recover from certain wounds. Due to their small stature they also can fit into small areas, and their affinity towards water grants them increased swim speed.

Upon losing a limb, you will regenerate it after 2d8 days. So long as the limb is not cut off again within that time

Also you're very cute to other races, as a small creature with beady little eyes

The Axolotl can only breathe in water, and will begin suffocating without it
