Homebrew Werewolf Vampire Hybrid Species Details
Madeline sat under the moon, enjoying the cool breeze. She saw a silhouette approaching her. Standing up, Madeline stepped away from the tree that was shadowing her and walked towards them. The figure was strange—they removed their hood when they stopped in front of her, Madeline would have said; yet the woman's body seemed to be human and had the ears of a elf, the eyes were definitely those of a beast. Her teeth were like those of a Vampire.
. . . not one or the other, but . . .“Kaleen?” said Madeline hesitantly as the woman smiled.
“Somethings different.” The shell of her friend rasps. When Kaleen looked up the only thing she could focus on was the blood pumping through Madeline's Jugular.
Of Two Worlds
These two curses making living in the world harder than usual. One curse you’re supposed to stay away from the blood, the other you have to consume it to live. Do you let this turn you evil? Or will you use it to help others?
Cursed or Blessed
Not being able to have a conversation without thinking about someone’s jugular is going to be rough, or having to stay away from silver, not being able to enter homes without permission, of course, no running water, no sunlight, you’re basically limited to everything.
At least you’ll be feared though, you could hide from both, but you’ll be reminded because of the full moon, and feeling exhausted when you don’t drink enough blood. But you could always work on keeping your humanity.
Half-Elf Names
Half-elves use either human or elven naming conventions. As if to emphasize that they don’t really fit in to either society, half-elves raised among humans are often given elven names, and those raised among elves often take human names.
Werewolf-Vampire Hybrid
You're the effect of an angry fertility goddess. Giving you two curses that make living hard. You have several weaknesses, however she didn't make you evil. You get to decide if you want to be a bloodlust killer, or to hide it. You still change on Full Moons, and you still need blood to survive.
Werewolf Vampire Hybrid Traits
Your half-elf character has some qualities in common with elves and some that are unique to half-elves. Along with your half vampire abilities and your werewolf side.Age
You're Immortal, practically the same age as before you died and turned.
Darkvision
Thanks to your elf blood plus your hybrid abilities, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Languages
You can speak, read, and write Common, Elvish, and one extra language of your choice.
Size
Half-elves are about the same size as humans, ranging from 5 to 6 feet tall. Your size is Medium.
Speed
Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Ability Score Increase
Your Charisma score increases by 1, and two other ability scores of your choice increase by 1.
Vampiric Powers
You gain the ability to cast spells because of your supernatural nature.
At levels 1, 3, and 7 you can cast spells.
Regeneration
At 5th level you gain the ability to regain 5 hit points at the start of your turn. If you have at least 1 hp and isn't in running water or sunlight, or take radiant damage from holy water, this trait doesn't function at the start of your next turn
level 10: 10 hit points, level 15: 15 hit points, level 20: 20 hit points
Bite
Your fangs grow out + your canine teeth. you do 1d4 piercing damage + strength or your dexterity modifier
Claws
You’re attack is counted as an unarmed strike.
ShapeChange
At level 1, you turn into a medium sized wolf. Your natural armor is 11 + your Dexterity modifier, your walking speed has increased to 40 ft. and you gain the bite attack. you have proficiency in Melee Weapon Attack, do 1d6 + strength modifier for piercing damage.
At level 9, you may use a action to Polymorph into a Tiny bat. While in bat shape, the Vampire can not talk, its walking speed is 5 feet, and it has a flying rate of 30 feet.
At level 20 turn into a werewolf hybrid with vampire wings the width of your arms, you can do damage with your claws. 4d4+Strength or Dexterity modifier and its Slashing. You can do damage with a bite. 4d6+Strength or Dexterity modifier and its piercing.
Blood is Life
You can drink the blood of a willing, paralyzed, charmed, incapitated, restrained, or grappled living being. When you drink their blood they take necrotic damage equal to the health points you get back.
Blood Rush
the blood gained gives you temp hit points, your speed increases by 10 ft, you gain adv on strength and dex throws, and you gain a temp point to your strength and dex mods for one minute.
Undead
you dont need to sleep, eat, or breathe. your substances is in the form of blood. 8 ounces to get you through the day. 16 to get rid of an exhaustion point.
Predatory Nature
if you can see, hear, or smell a helpless creature of blood, you have disadv on all wisdom saving throws.
you must succeed a DC 10 wisdom saving throw or turn into a wolf.
Fire Vulnerability
fire can hurt you badly.
Silver
You are unable to wield or carry silvered weapons. In addition, you cannot have or gain resistance to attacks
made with a silvered weapon. When silver is used to restrain you during a full-moon, it is a DC 25 Strength check to break free.
Bloodlust
If you begin your turn with no more than half of your maximum hit points, you must succeed on a DC 8 Wisdom saving throw or move directly towards the nearest creature to you and use the Attack action against that creature. You can choose whether or not to use your Extra Attack feature for this frenzied attack. If there is more than one possible target, roll to randomly determine the target. You then regain control for the remainder of your turn.
Man In The Mirror
No reflection in surfaces coated or lined in silver, such as old mirrors with silver lining behind the glass.
Sunlight Hypersensitivity
If your turn ends in the sun you take 1d10 radiant damage.
Running Water
You take 1d10 acidic damage, when they end their turn in running water.
Forbiddance
if you dont have a invite, dont enter.
Eternal Rest
hope you're not claustrophobic, you sleep in coffinlike structures
