Homebrew Aspieri Species Details
The Aspieri arrived in Lotagna only a few years ago but their influence is unmistakable. They are metal structures created in their homelands. The metal structures are used as growing molds for tendrils of their "Deity" called "The Aspen". The Aspen is a great tree in the center of what they call "The conglomeration". Very little is known of them from the outside world but it is believed they share a sort of hive-mind allowing them to work in conjunction with one-another.
Aspieri Traits

Your Strength and Intelligence scores increases by 2, and your Charisma score decreases by 3
Age
Aspieri reach maturity by age 4. They can live for as long as 250 years if they are kept in good repair.
Alignment
Most Aspieri are good and rarely, if ever, stray from the side of Law and neutrality. The Aspen itself views the world in a neutral sense.
Contruct of the Aspen
- You have advantage on saving throws against being poisoned, and you have resistance to poison damage.
- You don’t need to eat
- You are immune to disease.
- You can't sleep, and magic can’t put you to sleep.
Take Root
As a reaction, take root in the floor using your true senses and the connection to your comrades. You become impossible to move and have advantage on Strength Checks for up to one minute of concentration. You also have a +5 to your perception checks while rooted.
