Homebrew Albool Species Details
Albool are a race of humanoid plants and are the sworn enemy's there blood relatives the blights. the first Albool were blights who were caught and healed of the curse of the Gulthia tree by a circle of arch-druids. they have since secretly flourished in the great wildernesses of this world.

Albool appear unnerving and unnatural to humans and members of many other races. They are slightly taller than humans on average, ranging from under 6 feet tall to well over 7 feet. They tend to be slightly more stocky than humans, weighing from 300 to 400 pounds. Males and females are about the same height, and males are only marginally heavier than females.
Albool coloration encompasses many shades of green and brown as well as some white, some rare specimens may have more vibrant colors. their eyes appear as a mas of vines and a hole where the pupil should be their "eyes" are just for show they see through through magic. Albool have no body hair how ever many vines from their head that act like their "hair". when the must where clothing they grow suits and dresses of leaves.

Albool can live well over 700 years, giving them a broad perspective on events that might trouble the shorter-lived races more deeply. They are more often concerned than excited, and more likely to be curious than greedy. They tend to remain neutral in any conflicts but will attack with force if threated. When pursuing a goal, however, whether adventuring on a mission or learning a new skill or art they tend to take their time often losing interest. They are slow to make friends and enemies, and even slower to forget them.
Like the branches of a young tree, Albool are flexible in the face of danger, But like the mighty oak they will stand firm when the need arises. They trust in diplomacy and compromise to resolve differences before they escalate to violence. They have been known to retreat from intrusions into their woodland homes, confident that they can simply wait the invaders out. But when the need arises, Albool reveal a stern martial side, demonstrating skill with bow, club, and strategy.
Hidden Woodland Realms
Most Albool dwell in small forest villages hidden among the trees. Albool never hunt game instead they gather food, and grow vegetables, and their skill and magic allow them to support themselves without the need for clearing and plowing land. Their contact with outsiders is usually limited, though a few Albool make a good living by acting as guards for hire.

On declaring adulthood, an Albool selects an adult name, although those who knew him or her as a seedling might continue to use the seedling name.
