Homebrew Cephaloling Species Details
These recluse and quiet folk have been mis-raced and mistreatmented at the hands of all humanoids. Being mistaken as the dreadful underdark Mindflayers.
They dwell in submerged alone in deep ocean caverns or wet caves on land, and hide to the surrounding to ambush.
Cephaloling Traits
Your cephaloling character has an assortment of inborn abilities, part and parcel of cephaloling nature.Natural Evasiveness
Cephalolings can naturally hide and camouflages with their surroundings. Cephalolings can cast Invisibility at will as a Bonus Action on themselves. As long as the player stays still. When the player moves the Invisibility dissipates.
Dual Breathing
Cephalolings can breathe both air and water.
Ability Score Increase
Your Intelligence score increases by 2 and your Dexterity score increases by 1.
Age
Cephaloling mature to adulthood by the age of 30 but have been known to live up to 200 years.
Alignment
Most cephalolings have some aspect of neutrality in their alignment. They tend toward lawful, coming from a culture where secretes and knowledge are a resorce to be kept tight to the chest.
