Homebrew Creeg Species Details

"From darkened skies and a blackened sun, deaths wrath descends upon. Many forms and vast shapes, but still, they move as one. With many eyes and jagged teeth, they gaze, accuse, deny. For immortals attempt to live forever, yet with the sun they surely die. None are free from the wrath of death, not beast, machine, nor man. for no matter peace or silence besought, we end as we began."  Kyzer the Noble, Phaelinx philosopher, recounting The Purge/The Great Awakening.

Originally, the Creeg were a plague of organisms bent on consuming every life form they come across, but when they climbed to the top of the food chain on the moon Tyrsonus, they turned their sights on the planet of Tyr. Evolving the ability for flight and survival in a vacuum, they descended on the planet, claiming all of the biomass on the planet. However, the planet of Tyr had something none of its moons did, sentient life. The Creeg, upon the devastation evolved something they had never encountered from consuming the beasts and monsters. They encountered conciseness. They evolved intelligence, speech, vision, cunning, history, but most of all, they evolved understanding. They understood what they were, where they were going, and what they had done. They form themselves as bipeds, they attempt to replicate that which they have decimated, so that they may truly understand their pain.
