Homebrew Ancient Piano Species Details
It was nine o'clock on Yulisen, and the Blue Moon Inn was just starting to get busy. The regular crowd was shuffling in and there was an old Half-Elf sittin' next to me - makin' love to his tonic and gin. He said to me, "Cat can you play me a memory? I'm not really sure how it goes... But it's sad and it's sweet and I knew it complete, when I wore a younger man's clothes". I thought about it for a moment, not sure what to make of this request. I decided to give it a try, and started to tune up my lute. Before I could start though, I heard a sound from on-stage, "La, la-la, di-di-da... La-la di-di-da da-dum..."
Mystical Nature
The Ancient Piano does not have a known history or a past. It is not capable of birth and does not have a natural family. It may have been created from the chaos of primordial forces, or formed from the instillment of divine or arcane magics. Whatever its beginnings, it is a force of magic within the multiverse. This Ancient Piano was created for a performance on the cosmic scale...and still has some songs left to play.
Loyal Companions
Though it does not have blood relatives or natural birth, the Ancient Piano can be fiercely loyal to its companions. Once it respects and trusts an ally, it treats them like family. In some cases, the Ancient Piano can form a special bond with a particular creature akin to attunement.
Sentient Object Names
Sentient Objects tend to name themselves upon awakening, and usually pick their names based on whatever their main attribute is. The Ancient Piano was created by some force for a grand performance and should be named as such.

Your base walking speed is 25 feet. Due to your Piano Rollers, you are unable to traverse difficult terrain other than slick surfaces.
Echolocation
When playing music or other sounds, you are able to sense the location of objects and creatures that the sound waves you are creating bounce off of. You can not discern colors or other descriptive characteristics, only shapes and forms. Your proficiency in this trait, however, does allow you to accurately determine what types of creatures you are detecting. You must be actively making a sound in order for this sense to work.

Due to your inorganic construction, you have several unique traits:

When you take a long rest, you must spend at least six hours in an inactive, motionless state, rather than sleeping. In this state, you appear inert, but it doesn’t render you unconscious, and you can see and hear as normal.

You can speak and read Common and Primordial. As you have no corporeal appendages, you are unable to write. You communicate out loud through a convenient speaker system in your inner frame.
