Origin

Some wonder if the Ants were created by gods like many of the other races. The Ants however claim to be born from the core of the world itself, a mixture of rock and earth brought to life. Forming the race that is now world renowned for their skill in combat.

History

Emerging from below at the end of the 4th era, the Ants aided the Myriapoda Centipede tribe in taking part of the eastern desert from the Antlion empire. After the Poda wars, the Ants receded into their hills, becoming mildly disconnected with wider society. When the 3 Ant heroes of legend, now renowned as gods, went on their journey to the forgotten continent, they came back with treasures that advanced their race in many ways. Nectara, Ant goddess of fertility and harvest, brought the Cornucopia back with her, Aeacus, god of exploration and the unknown, brought the Obsidian Looking Glass back with him, and Myrmidon, god of war and strife, brought back the Warstaff of Allhive.

Attributes

Ants are graceful, and their combat skill is almost unmatched in spite of their small size. Inventors of both the Warscrew and the Pin, many think Ants a warlike race, when truly they simply enjoy the finer things in life, and are extraordinarily humble.
