Homebrew Xolotl Species Details

XOLOTL TRAITS

Ability score increase: Increase any ability score by 2.

Age: Xolotls are eternally childish, and never fully mature. Legend says that once a Xolotl reaches 1000 years old they will mature into a new form, but no Xolotls in recorded history have survived this much. They often reach 500 years of age.

Alignment: Due to their peaceful and childish nature, Xolotls are often chaotic good.

Size: Xolotl’s never grow a lot as they stay children, rarely reaching more than 4 feet of height. Your size is Small. Some Xolotls can reach 6 ft. Your size is big.

Speed: Your base walking and swimming speed is 30ft.

Darkvision: Your aquatic heritage lets you see well in low light environments. You see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern colour in darkness, only in shades of grey.

Underwater  heritage: You can breathe underwater.

Innate regeneration: Once per short rest you can heal hit points equal to your level +1d4. You can heal 1d20 + twice your level.

Clothes: All the materials you spawn with will be waterproof.

Languages: You know Xolotl, Common and Dwarven.
