Homebrew Bucentaur Species Details
Centaur-like, but with the body of a cow. They range on the larger end of the medium size races, and are just barely larger than orcs commonly are. The "cow half" of the body tends to be similar in appearance to the Hereford cattle breed, but the similarities are purely coincidental. Darker hair and eyes are dominant, and often the "human half" has cow-like features; There can be cow's ears, different nose structure, and cow-like eyes, just to name a few.
Those close to Bucentaur are of the highest importance in their mind; they will stop at nothing to protect those they love. They tend to live in large family groups and work most commonly as farmers. Bucentaur feel best when they have a "slot" where they fit in within a group and where their contributions are seen. Oftentimes they can be stubborn and competitive to prove themselves against how they are viewed by society: as slow, stupid, and docile. This can lead to them picking off more than they can physically chew, so to speak.
Driven and passionate, Bucentaur will work as hard as they can ensure the safety of all around them.
