Homebrew Xenicoth Species Details

 

Xenicoth are typically evil doing the mordyrs favor but some can break free, however civilization gives them no remorse. 

Tall and Slender

Tall and gaunt, xenicoth are known as brutal fighters, adept mages, and driven rogues. Though they stand well over 6 feet tall, xenicoth can weigh as little as 80 pounds. Their shear endurance and brutality in combat is what keeps them fighting, and lends them some respect from orcs and barbarians alike.

Xenicoth skin ranges from a void black to a pale ashy grey. Their hair if any, is short and thin. Instead most Xenicoth are adorned with antlers or horns of some kind. 

Life 

Xenicoth can live to be more than 800 years old, or as little as 50, it's all dependant on drive. A xenicoth can simply will itself to death so long as the mordyr doesn't stop them. xenicoth always begins as another race, and their look reflects this.

A xenicoth is no longer the race it once was and as a result has its own unique abilities.

Ability Score Increase

Your Dexterity score increases by 2.

Age

Xenicoth mature at the same rate as the original race, but they can live for about 800 years.

Alignment

Most xenicoth tend toward chaotic, being speratic and acting on impulse. 

Size

Xenicoths stand between 6 and 8 feet tall and average about 115 pounds. Your size is large.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 35 feet.

Red Vision

Accustomed to a life of night and void, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Creature of the night

You have advantage on saving throws against poison, and you have resistance against necrotic damage.

Blades and talons

You have proficiency with the  hand axe, longsword, great sword, and melee attacks.

Primordial knowledge

Whenever you make an Intelligence (History) check related to primordials or artifacts, you are considered proficient in the History skill and add double your proficiency bonus to the check, instead of your normal proficiency bonus. Aswell you are granted the ability to dispel magic once per long rest

Languages (Xenicothic)

You can speak, read, and write Common, Primordial, and Xenicothic.
