Voidfolk are blessed with the light of life, it is their burden, however, to figure out what to do with it. imbued with life force these manifestations of the infinite are a walking talking enigma, forcing scholars and intellectuals to question their beliefs of life and nature. The Void are often wanderers, and they usually spend at least some of their time trying to find their origins in this world, searching for their place in it.

Emissaries of the Infinite 

The Void are created as a balance to the celestial and infernal that the Aasimar and Tiefling represent, a true neutral. Their reason for being is simple, to affect. affect those around them, and affect the world they live in.

As a Void matures they learn as they go. Their intriguing appearance can bring all sorts of attention, both wanted and unwanted. They learn to fade into the background if need be, Having a natural affinity for disappearing into shadows. A Voidfolk is the amalgamation of their experiences, their situation governs their ambitions and temperament. The race does not lend themselves to any particular alignment as every Void's life is different.

Every Void has an interesting story to tell but the one commonality is their wanderlust, their curiosity and whit. The Void is drawn to exploration like a moth to flame.

Warry travellers 

When one is both a rarity and poses the intrigue and beauty in their skin that the Voidfolk do you learn keep your wits about you, the void typically are not quick to trust. Void folk draw attention of all sorts, ranging from curious or afraid common folk to mad scientists who want to figure out the secrets that a Voidfolks body holds. The Void are very good at making themselves scarce in sticky situations.

That being said Voidfolk are partial to all different walks of lives. It is impossible to tell if any Void will traverse the world proudly showing off their uniqueness or prefer to cover their faces in hoods and their body's in gear and armour.

When creating a Void it is extremely important to consider what sort of lifestyle they have led. The Void are an extremely unpredictable race and their upbringing is a huge variable. keep in mind the Voidfolks strange manifestation, they do not know where they come from or how they are created, how does this affect them?

Shrouded Origins

No one has ever witnessed a Void Manifestation but it is known that a Void can manifest (in age compared to a human) anywhere between 10-20 years old in maturity of body. The mind of a Voidfolk at manifestations are mostly blank slates, they know how to communicate and interact with objects but must learn how to survive on the go.

Because of the Voidfolks rarity they often never get a chance to talk to another of their kin and any information that can be provided about them is conjecture and legend with no general consensus. For many Voids, finding more information about their origin is a major goal. Unsurprisingly, others seek to know the Voidfolk's secrets; this can either lead to positive or negative interactions, but, nevertheless a Void's life is never uneventful.

The Void often grow up with no family as they simply manifest and none remember how they are created therefore Void usually name themselves, that being said their names usually reflect the culture they grew up in.

Born of the dark your void-born creation grants you darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

You have resistance to necrotic damage and radiant damage.

You know the Darkness spell at level 4. The spell is centered on yourself

Using the shadows or darkness of night Voidfolk have advantage on stealth roles.
