Homebrew Bat Folk Species Details
Bat like wings, larger ears and piercing fangs are what denote this races most notable features, some have been known to have tails or fur, some are more human like while others can be more Bat like in features.
Bat Folk Traits
Blindsense, Flight, Darkvision, Heightened PerceptionBlind Sense
Having evolved from a creature that had poor eyesight while most Batfilk are capable of seeing fine on their own they still retain this skill from their more primitive days.
Dark Vision
Having grown in Caves or darker environments your sight is well adjusted to seeing in the dark.
Flight
With the bat wings that you have you are capable of flight and have a flying speed equal to your walking speed.
Enhanced Hearing
So long as you have not taken Thunder Damage since your last long rest you have a bonus to your perception checks thanks to your heightened hearing, you can also use echolocation to navigate if you are blinded.
Ability Score Increase
You have a +2 to your dexterity and a +1 to your Wisdom, or you may choose to use the Origin Ability Modifier from Tasha's.
