Homebrew Avian Species Details
A graceful race from the mountains, once bearing large wings that allowed them to fly around the mountaintops but are restrained on the ground as their wings are now too small in size to be used in flight.
Avian Traits
Your Avian character will have air-themed abilities that came from their many years of flight.Ability Score Increase
Increase one score by 2 and another by 1, alternatively raise 3 scores of your choice by 1
Lightfooted
You have a walking speed of 35 feet.
Featherweight
When calculating fall damage, subtract 10 ft from the total height fallen as you use your wings to slow your fall
Mountain Nesters
You have resistance to cold damage. You’re also acclimated to high altitude, including elevations above 20,000 feet.
One with the Skies
You know the gust cantrip and you can cast jump once with this trait, requiring no material components and you regain the ability to cast it this way when you finish a long rest. You may also cast the spell with any remaining spell slots you have. You may choose from Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma as your spellcasting ability for these spells.
