Homebrew Winter Folk Species Details

The Winter Folk were born long ago, when Dek'il an an ancient of god of winter and his wife Shelki had their first child, Hefren, Hefren after coming of age created Rams along with his father's creation of an old form of humans. Years later Dek'il and Shelki where soon to have a second child. But Dek'il had a rival named Babish who  cast a spell on Shelki so when she gave birth Hefren's creation would merge with his father's, then Hefren would die. When Shelki gave birth, she gave birth to a girl named, Masha. Dek'il was furious, and planned to kill Babish. Babish was killed with his own blade and Dek'il did the same. Masha and Shelki overcome with grief, lived in solitude helping the newly created Winter Folk when ever the snow fell. The winter folk are Blue skinned Humanoids with tattoos. Their faces are decorated with masks of many colours. They have thick curly hair of many colours and every one grows large Ram like horns when they come of age.

 

 

 

Winter Folk Traits

The Winter Folk have many traits that make them stand out.

Charge

Charge. If the Winter Folk moves at least 20 feet straight toward a target and then hits it with an unarmed attack on the same turn, the target takes 5 (1d8) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 10 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

Your Strength score increases by 2, and your Constitution score increases by 1.

Winter Folk  Come of age when they are 32 years of age and will live 100-150 years

Winter Folk are between 6 and 7 feet tall and weigh between 280 and 340 pounds. Your size is Medium.

You have proficiency in the Athletics skill.

Powerful Build

You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.

You’re naturally adapted to cold climates, as described in chapter 5 of the Dungeon Master’s Guide.
